Here at Fairchilds Lodge we can tailor your visit to your group’s particular requirements. From a small group of adults right up to a coach full of school children, we can adjust the visit to fit in with which ever part of the curriculum your group is studying or whatever you are interested in to do with farming and food production.
To arrange a visit just fill in the on line form stating when you want to come, how many will be in your party, the age group and an indication of the subject matter you wish to learn about. Our staff are CRB checked and will answer questions on any part of the food chain. If you would like to come for an evening tour then that is not a problem and we can provide tea and coffee. There is no charge for visits and we may be able to help obtain some funding towards the cost of bus travel to the farm. This provides a unique opportunity in Rutland to visit a working farm and learn how UK farmers not only produce some of the finest food in the world, but also look after our beautiful countryside.
